Nate Kredich has been named Vice President for Residential Market Development, of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). In the newly created position, he will oversee USGBC’s LEED for Homes program. He spent the last five years with Creative Touch Interiors (CTI), a national turnkey provider of design center services to the nation’s largest homebuilders.
Dryvit Corp has promoted Barbara Catlow to Director of Marketing Communications. She has been a Dryvit employee for 25 years, most recently as Manager of Marketing Services. She will be responsible for marketing communications for the Dryvit and Triarch product lines as well as managing the Dryvit Technical Services Department.
Robert F. Welch, former owner and long-time editor of Walls & Ceilings, passed away February 20, 2008 at the age of 92.
Mr. Welch was born October 13, 1915 in Denver. He met Ruth, his wife of 70 years, while they were attending Huron College, South Dakota. During WWII he served in the Navy as a communications officer in the South Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Wasatch. After the war he wrote for, and later published building trade journals in Southern California.
