The International Concrete Repair Institute has peaked its membership number recently, with its 2,000th member. This milestone was reached in February amid growing concerns that the recent economic downturn would have a slightly less encouraging impact.

The institute, based out of Des Plaines, Ill., has seen a steady growth in new memberships as well as an increase in membership renewals during the past six months of operation. This growth surge comes on the heels of ICRI celebrating 20 years of serving the concrete repair and restoration community worldwide in 2008.
