Colorations Ceiling System

Armstrong World Industries Inc.

July 21, 2014

With the introduction of Colorations Integrated Ceiling Systems, Armstrong is now making a complete acoustical ceiling solution available in 13 standard colors with coordinating ceiling panels, suspension system and trim.

Available on Calla acoustical ceiling panels, Suprafine suspension systems, and Axiom trim, Colorations Integrated Systems combine a smooth, monolithic visual with excellent acoustical performance and easy access to the plenum.

Integrating Color and Acoustics
With Colorations, designers no longer need to choose between color and acoustics. Calla mineral fiber ceiling panels in Colorations finishes offer an acoustical combination of NRC and CAC in a single, factory-finished product. This makes them ideal for use in focus, collaboration, or privacy spaces in offices, healthcare and educational facilities.

In addition to 13 standard colors, designers can specify their choice of over 1,000 made-to-order Sherwin-Williams colors for a factory-painted ceiling system that eliminates the need for field painting.

Color-Coordinated Ceiling System
“We are giving designers the opportunity to create a smooth, monolithic visual with an accessible ceiling system that is readily available in color-coordinated pieces designed to work and look great together without sacrificing acoustics,” says Nate Baxter, associate marketing manager for Armstrong Commercial Ceiling Systems. “And, if they want a custom color, we can service that request as well.”

Colorations is available on 2’ x 2’ Calla beveled tegular ceiling panels with 9/16” Suprafine suspension systems, and six Axiom trim lines, including Classic, Knife Edge, Vector, Profiled, Moldings and Column Rings.

Made from 68 percent recycled content, Calla Colorations ceiling panels have a Class A fire rating and can be recycled at the end of their service life through the Armstrong Recycling Program. Colorations panels are washable, impact-resistant and soil resistant.

Colorations colors also coordinate with other products in the Armstrong ceilings line, including SoundScapes Shapes, SoundScapes Canopies, SoundScapes Blades vertical elements and Infusions translucent Canopies.
