This year’s EIMA kicked off this week in Long Beach with general sessions, association news, receptions, and golf. The two-day event is largely funded through the sponsorships of members and the association. This year’s top sponsors are Vela Insurance Services, Dow Construction Chemicals, and Radco.

Vela Insurance Services will once again be sponsoring the Associate Members Dinner, now in its third year. Vela is an underwriting manager of a broad range of casualty coverages, working with wholesale brokers nationwide to insure risks in the construction, manufacturing, general casualty, and professional services sectors of the American economy.

Vela has been an Affiliate Member of EIMA since 2010 and one of the most consistent sponsors at the EIMA Annual Meeting. As part of this, Vela is once again the sponsor of the Associate Member of the Year Award, which will be handed out during the general session.

For the second straight year, Dow Construction Chemicals will be the lead sponsor of the Duncan Crowther “Golden State” Golf Tournament. The company is an active member of EIMA with representatives serving on the EIMA Board of Directors and as chair of the Communications and Education Committee. The company was the recipient of the inaugural Associate Member of the Year Award in 2013.

The top level sponsorships would not be complete without Radco stepping up to the gold level for the cocktail reception. The reception will bring together all members of EIMA as well as the members of allied associations. Outside of the general sessions, this reception most often gathers together the highest number of attendees. Radco is a nationally recognized Independent Third-party, Listing, and Inspection Agency for building systems and materials. They are also a nationally recognized Design Approval and Plan Inspection Agency for manufactured and modular homes and buildings.
