National Gypsum, DWFC’s Walker Retires
National Gypsum’s Director of Quality Services Jack Walker is retiring after 38 years with the company. Walker has been a friend to Walls & Ceilings for many years and served as president of the Drywall Finishing Council and also worked with the Gypsum Association’s Technical Committee.
He joined National Gypsum in 1977 as a sales representative in the Philadelphia area. Walker has held several positions including director of marketing and communications where he became a regular visitor to AWCI meetings. He has been the company’s quality representative for the past 18 years.
Walker penned the feature "The Secret to Great Looking Walls & Ceilings" in 2008 for the magazine. A true advocate for quality and the industry, his presence for this industry will be highly missed. Walls & Ceilings thanks him for his service and wish him the best.
