The DPA Buying Group hired Don Reycroft as its new Vice President of Public Safety. Reycroft will bring 37 years of diverse experience to develop the group’s new Public Safety division, which will encompass the Police, Fire & EMS industries.

Reycroft was previously the Director of Sales North America at Avon Protection Systems where he successfully managed and directed a sales team focused on fire service, law enforcement and industrial markets. Prior to Avon, he was the National Sales Manager at Draeger Safety where he worked with industrial, first responder, mining and government markets bringing record sales growth to the company.

At North Safety Products, he became the stakeholder for the successful development,

design and launch of their 7600-8A full facemask respirator. After 8+ years of managing a multi-million dollar product portfolio he returned to sales as Regional Sales Manager,

Southeast, and received “Salesperson of the Year” in 1994 & 1995. In 1996, Reycroft was promoted to National Account Manager for the WW Grainger account.
