Armstrong Ceiling and Wall Solutions offers an expanded acoustical designs portfolio that maintains exposed structure environments integrity and integrates noise control acoustical panels. The portfolio includes blades, baffles, clouds and canopies to reduce noise and visually define a space. Spotlight acoustic options include SoundScapes Blades, MetalWorks Blades – Classics, and Tectum Blades vertical panels; Soundsoak and Tectum Baffles; SoundScapes Shapes and Formations Clouds; Tectum Shapes and Clouds; MetalWorks and WoodWorks Canopies; and Serpentina Waves. When covering 5-to-50 percent of a deck, acoustic designs such as canopies, clouds, baffles or blades reduce reverberation time in exposed structure spaces by absorbing sound from all sides of the panels. The expanded portfolio also includes InvisAcoustics Basics ceiling panels for exposed structure spaces by maintaining the integrity of exposed structure designs while reducing the 0.75 Noise Reduction Coefficient. The panels absorb up to 75 percent of the striking sound and attach directly to the deck of an exposed structure space. They can be painted to match the deck, maintaining their acoustical and fire performance properties while virtually disappearing in the ceiling. Other direct-to-deck acoustic designs include Capz and Tectum panels, plus a new direct-attach option for SoundScapes Blades vertical panels giving designers the flexibility to attach the panels directly to decks, ceilings or walls.
