Jescraft Launches New Website
Jesco Iron Craft, Inc aka Jescraft launched of its new website, www.jescraft.com. The new look and intuitive design will engage and quickly inform customers seeking material handling solutions for their construction and industrial needs.
Jescraft organized and managed a comprehensive list of product attributes, imagery and technical data, the company said. This enables the website to generate relevant, curated search results that help customers quickly find and purchase the right products to get the job done.
"Over the last 10 years, our product offerings have doubled as well as the specific requirements of our customers. Given the number of products and product characteristics, our priority with the website design was to deliver a user-friendly on-line catalog that assists customers in finding exactly what they need," said Jescraft president Mike Brown. "We offer various options with some of our product lines,” said Brown. “The process for a customer to acquire information and select the options that suited their needs, needed to be easy and not overwhelming.” The architecture behind the website allows customers to narrow their options by selecting features associated with the product, simplifying the experience and product selection.
In addition, the newly designed website features a “Request a Quote” functionality. “Due to the nature and size of our products, as well as packing configurations, custom freight quotations are necessary in our business,” said Brown. “This results in a double bump of customer service calls, delaying critical information to an end-user.” The new “Request a Quote” functionality streamlines the process by allowing a customer to browse through Jescraft products, select a model, add it to a quote cart and submit the quote for processing. “This quoting functionality increases the accuracy of the product selection as well as the efficiency of returning a timely freight quote to the customer, providing a better customer experience for the distributor and end-user,” said Brown.
