The October Walls and Ceilings Toolbox features product selections from Armstrong Ceiling Solutions, MFM Building Products, and more. Check out our selections of connector clips, underlayments, and other tools for the walls and ceilings industry.

Adjustable Trim Clip

Armstrong Ceiling Solutions

The Adjustable Trim Clip is a new T-bar connector clip that attaches standard Armstrong trim and transition profiles to the T-bar suspension system members of almost any Armstrong specialty ceiling including MetalWorks and WoodWorks ceilings. This provides a more seamless, custom-looking solution when installing cloud-like ceilings in exposed structure spaces. Current standard T-bar connection clips limit the depth of the ceiling panel to less than a 3/8-inch drop from the grid flange to the lower reveal face of the trim. The new ATC clip has an adjustable range of 0 to 3¾ inches in 1/8-inch increments to accommodate almost all MetalWorks and WoodWorks panels and planks. The adjustable feature of the clip allows for an easy integration of standard trims and transitions with specialty ceilings. For additional information, visit armstrongceilings.com/atc.

Wind and Water Seal

MFM Building Products

The Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal high temperature underlayment is ideal for vertical side wall applications. This self-adhering “self-stick” membrane is composed of a cool white, cross-laminated, high density polyethylene film laminated to a high temperature rubberized asphalt adhesive system rated to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. This premium product is extremely tough, is self-sealing around fasteners and offers a 90-day UV exposure rating. The product is ideal for vertical applications under metal panel systems and parapet walls capped with metal tiles. The high temperature adhesive system withstands the high temperatures generated by these systems to ensure complete waterproofing protection. Special installation instructions must be followed for all vertical applications. For full technical data, visit mfmbp.com.

Dual Power Tower Light

Milwaukee Tool

The M12 ROCKET Dual Power Tower Light delivers 1,400 lumens of output in a more compact size and lightweight design allowing it to be easily carried and set up in under five seconds. The light is ideal for users currently in the M12 System, service contractors, and other professional users who desire a portable solution that can perform in smaller spaces. Its rotating light head can be extended over 5 feet, 8 inches and rotated 210° vertically or pivoted 270° horizontally to light overhead work or minimize shadows when casting light downward. The light provides dual power functionality by giving users the ability to operate it for up to 10 hours on one M12 XC 6.0 pack, or off AC power through a standard extension cord. Built to thrive in the toughest conditions, it is built with a durable, high-impact polycarbonate lens that delivers superior impact durability. For more information, visit milwaukeetool.com.

Decorative Acoustic Solutions

MDC Wallcoverings

Architectural Clouds transforms traditionally loud, open spaces into peaceful, productive environments. Hanging from the ceiling, these graceful structures evoke cumulus, cirrus and stratus clouds; however, thanks to the most advanced 3-D freeform tube-bending technology in North America, they can also take on a variable radius for completely custom, precise shapes.
