Cornerstone Building Brands announced its partnership with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Debuting on February 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be showcasing home improvement stories to help families in need.  Three Cornerstone brands: Ply Gem, Simonton and Environmental StoneWorks have donated products to be used in select projects on the show, beginning with episode 2, which aired February 23. Products from Ply Gem, Simonton and Environmental StoneWorks will enhance homes and provide added safety and efficiency, as well as cost-saving benefits in the future.

“By donating products to this season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, we are continuing our commitment to contribute to the communities where we live, work and play, and give back to deserving families,” said Susan Selle, Cornerstone Building Brands chief marketing officer.  “Our residential and commercial products are used on every type of building within communities across the country and are designed to have curb appeal while also providing exceptional durability and performance for every region or climate.”

Throughout the new season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the Ply Gem, Simonton and Environmental StoneWorks brands will show their commitment to helping those in need through the below product donations:

• Ply Gem - Ply Gem Windows & Doors energy-efficient, Pro Series 200 vinyl windows complement the unique looks and styles of this season’s homes. Designed for the Western United States energy-efficient requirements, these windows provide comfort and savings on annual heating and cooling costs. Pro Series 200 vinyl windows are durable and low maintenance, which means less time on household chores and more quality time together.

• Simonton - To help create open and bright living spaces for families to enjoy on this season, Simonton DaylightMax windows are included in five homes. The large glass design of DaylightMax windows provides sweeping views and up to 40% more daylight than standard windows. The double-strength glass is a safer choice for active households, plus the thicker glass means a quieter environment at night - and might even help get the kids to sleep faster.  DaylightMax windows conserve energy, resulting in lower heating and cooling costs for families throughout the year.

• Environmental StoneWorks - Environmental StoneWorks‘ Grey Drift French Country blended stone veneer and Antique Red Tumbled thin brick products are featured in this season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  These stone products bring dramatic value to the renovated homes by adding beautiful character to the interior and exterior. The stone veneer and thin brick showcase the ability to offer a wide selection of old-world charm as well as modern, contemporary lines. The Thin Brick and Blended Stone veneers transform living rooms into cozy, warm, and inviting spaces for families to enjoy together and to make new memories. Moreover, Environmental StoneWorks products are engineered to provide durability in extreme weather and add valuable curb appeal.

“Cornerstone Building Brands was there for our families a decade ago, and now they’re here for our families again. Thank you, Ply Gem, Simonton and Environmental StoneWorks for providing the products that our builders and volunteers needed to deliver ten homes in ten weeks. It couldn’t have happened without you!" said Executive Producer Brady Connell.
