Gilbane Building Company has been selected by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as the Construction Manager at Risk, charged with planning and supervising construction of the museum’s upcoming renovation and expansion project, which includes the James W. and Frances G. The architecture and urban design firm Cooper Robertson has announced the completion of the C.H. “Chub” O’Reilly Enterprise Center, a major new academic building on the growing campus of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Designed by Cooper Robertson in collaboration with Trivers, the $27 million, 67,348-square-foot facility is Drury’s first new building in more than two decades.
A symbol of downtown Edmonton’s renaissance, Enbridge Centre’s Class AA 575,500-square-foot office building earned LEED Gold certification for Commercial Interiors through the Canada Green Building Council. Continuing to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability, the property also earned LEED Platinum, the highest level of certification, for Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance.

Second store location by Charles Bloszies firm for Blu Dot displays sensitivity to local context, as well as expertise in adaptive reuse and elegant, sustainable design solutions

The Office of Charles F. Bloszies FAIA has just completed their second project for Blu Dot, the leading design retailer, in San Francisco. At the foot of Potrero Hill in San Francisco, Bloszies and Blu Dot’s team have reimagined a pair of vacant buildings to create a new, neighborhood-friendly adaptation and a simplified, soft-modern backdrop for the successful Minneapolis-based maker of modern furniture.
City leaders in Kirkwood, Missouri, an inner-ring St. Louis suburb of almost 28,000 residents, had goals of punching above their weight class when they began making plans for a new performing arts center to anchor what they envisioned as a new arts and entertainment district for their community. This vision became a reality when the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center finally opened its doors in July 2021, its debut delayed almost a year by social distancing concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Construction is completed at The Enzo at Ariston in Buford, Georgia. McShane Construction Company provided general contracting services for the 265-unit development on behalf of their client, TPA Residential.
Built using trauma-informed design, Chiles House brings affordable housing to the homeless in Portland, Oregon.

Chiles House was developed out of a rallying cry to bring uplifting housing as fast as possible for Portland’s most needy. The five-story, 17,000-square-foot building, completed in less than two years, provides an affordable residence for the growing homeless population in Portland, Oregon.
St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialties at the Lanark campus in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a 37,500-square-foot newly constructed building operated by St. Luke’s University Health Network. This medical office site consists of three floors equaling 12,500 square feet each.
As the gateway to the east end and academic core of Rowan University’s Glassboro, New Jersey, campus, the new Discovery Hall offers expanded space to meet growing enrollment in the School of Earth & Environment and the College of Science & Mathematics.
