PDH Contractors Academy Launches Michigan Builders Pre-Licensing Course

The new course complements the company’s existing continuing education courses, making PDH Contractors Academy a convenient one-stop-shop for contractor education in Michigan

PDH Contractors Academy, a division of PDH Academy, LLC, is pleased to announce the availability of its new fully online Michigan Builders pre-licensing course. This course meets state requirements for anyone interested in becoming either a licensed residential builder or a maintenance and alteration contractor in the state of Michigan, one of which is required for all general contractors working on projects valued in excess of $600 in the state. This new course adds to PDH Contractors Academy’s portfolio of continuing education courses for Michigan contractors and residential builders, enabling both new and experienced contractors to obtain the education they need to be both compliant and effective on the job.

PDH Contractors Academy’s 60-hour course may be completed entirely online and satisfies the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements. Once the course is completed, participants receive a certificate of completion and may then apply to take the Michigan Builders Licensing Exam or the Michigan Maintenance and Alteration Exam. Licensed Michigan residential builders and maintenance and alteration contractors must complete continuing education hours each year to maintain their license.
