Gilbane Building Company announced that Angeles Garcia-Pineda joined the team as health care center of excellence leader for the West. As a compassionate leader, Garcia-Pineda brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. She will leverage her expertise and relationships to help drive successful client relationships and elevate Gilbane’s focus on bringing value to their clients, trade partners and the local community.

Garcia-Pineda will combine lessons learned and best practices from her vast experience as a premier builder of health care construction projects to expand Gilbane’s existing portfolio. She is passionate about creating projects that have a positive impact on our communities while developing collaborative and trusting relationships.

Throughout her career, Garcia-Pineda has been a champion for lean culture and processes. She is an advocate for high standards and works closely with clients, owners, designers, architects, engineers and authorities to ensure the successful completion of a project. She has also served as a mentor in a protégé program, providing pro bono construction management services, and is proud to help facilitate projects for her community. She is a two-time recipient of the Northern California Real Estate Woman of Influence award and is passionate about women in leadership roles of construction management.
