John Fenstermacher, CSI, CDT, was recently promoted to the position of Northeast District sales manager. He most recently was the product representative for the eastern Pennsylvania territory. Prior to that, he was the inside technical salesperson for upstate New York. In that role, he, along with Dave Willard, CSI, CDT, won the annual Malan S. Parker Award for 2020, which recognizes the top sales team each year. Fenstermacher joined ATAS in 2013 and has over 24 years of industry experience. He has also held the positions of original equipment manufacturer technical sales and sales for BRIGHTSMITH Coaters (a sister company of ATAS) and was the director of dealer development for the Accel division (residential metal roofing) earlier in his career with ATAS. Fenstermacher earned the Construction Specifications Institute’s Construction Documents Technologist certification in 2014 and is certified in metal roof installation by the Metal Construction Association.

Steven Minunni, CSI, has moved into the new position of channel manager of fabricator business development. He previously was the Northeast District sales manager. Early in his ATAS career, he was the product representative for upstate New York and western Pennsylvania. Minunni has worked for ATAS since 1998 and has over 30 years’ experience in construction sales. He has earned several industry certifications, including the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate from the United States Green Building Council in 2010 and the CSI CDT in 2011, and is certified in metal roof installation by the MCA. Minunni headed up the creation of ATAS’s two-day seminar on wall panel installation that was launched in November 2021. For the past few years, he has been a co-instructor at METALCON for a two-day, eight-hour introductory certificate program based on MCA’s Metal Roof Installation Manual.

“We welcome John in his advancement and look forward to him sharing his vast experience with our product representatives in the Northeast,” stated Jim Bush, vice president of sales and marketing at ATAS. “With ATAS’s continued growth in the metal wall cladding market, we welcome Steve in his new role to concentrate on those contractors that specialize in the wall cladding arena on a national and regional basis.”
