Drywall Contractor Sues to Collect Payment for Completed Work

A Utah drywall contractor is suing a developer for work it completed at The Austin Townhomes in Draper, Utah, in May 2023, reported Luke Garrott of Building Salt Lake.
Kyco Services filed a complaint against Wasatch Residential Builders and South Point Towns in Salt Lake County District Court. Kyco said that it was not paid for its work on gypsum assemblies at the townhomes.
Kyco is seeking $294,304.01 for labor, materials, attorney fees and interest. The company filed a mechanic’s lien for foreclosure six months before it brought the lawsuit against Wasatch and South Point.
