Building on its workwear collections announced in 2023, Milwaukee enhanced its workwear portfolio to include women’s job site apparel. This new expansion combines the performance and comfort that tradeswomen need on the job in an optimally tailored fit. Committed to supporting the impact of women in the trades, Milwaukee is redefining women’s apparel, offering job site clothes built to conquer real work solutions that meet the demands of women in the trades.

“Despite seeing significant increases of tradeswomen across industries in recent years, their options for sufficient job site apparel have remained stagnant,” said Nadia Sinner, Milwaukee product manager. “Through working directly with tradeswomen to uncover their frustrations with current job site apparel, Milwaukee is delivering solutions specifically tailored for women on the job. Our design process consists of extensive job site research, product seeding and rigorous product testing to ensure durable apparel that is fitted and designed specifically for tradeswomen by tradeswomen.”

Redefining expectations for women’s workwear, Milwaukee is introducing three new shirts, a sweatshirt and two pairs of pants for women on the job site. A part of the GRIDIRON, FREEFLEX and WORKSKIN workwear collections, these solutions are dedicated to solving frustrations in comfort, movement and protection from the elements. This initial expansion for women’s workwear includes additions to the GRIDIRON and FREEFLEX collections with future plans to expand the WORKSKIN collection. These products are engineered with a focus on the trades, ensuring apparel to benefit productivity in all job site conditions.

Shirts and Hoodies

Part of the GRIDIRON collection, the Women’s Short-Sleeve Pocket Tee and Women’s Short-Sleeve Logo Tee are built to survive and engineered for broken-in comfort. Designed with women in mind, these tees provide a relaxed fit, delivering plenty of room to move around the job site. Constructed with a durable, reliable 6-ounce cotton/poly blend, these tees provide all-day protection on the job and are equipped with anti-odor and moisture-wicking technologies. As an expansion to the FREEFLEX collection, Milwaukee’s new Women’s Short-Sleeve Hybrid Tee is built for movement. Engineered for mobility and easy layering, this hybrid tee provides natural stretch and a forward shoulder design without sacrificing durability.

Also, as part of the expansion, Milwaukee is announcing the Women’s FREEFLEX Midweight Pullover Hoodie, which is designed to layer comfortably. The FREEFLEX Pullover Hoodie provides season versatility and features reinforced pockets for secure storage, a three-panel hood for superior fit and protection, and forward shoulder construction for enhanced mobility and comfort. Designed for durability and flexibility, this hoodie ensures freedom of movement and reliable performance while working in tough conditions.

Pants

Leveraging extensive user research, Milwaukee is delivering two new work pants for tradeswomen, equipped with requested storage solutions and everyday go-to features by tradeswomen in the field.

The Women’s Double-Knee Jogger Pants, also a part of the GRIDIRON collection, are designed for extended life in rugged conditions. The high-rise straight fit, built-in stretch and waistband integrated with elastic provide a comfortable fit and the freedom to move while working. These work pants feature seven deep, reinforced pockets at the front, back and right leg, providing secure storage for tools and essentials, while nylon-reinforced clip-on zones on the front and left pockets offer quick access to additional storage. The wide belt loops with a utility loop ensure a comfortable, stable fit, with added versatility for attaching tools and accessories.

Expanding within Milwaukee’s core workwear portfolio, the new Women’s Work Pants are built from a tear- and abrasion-resistant fabric that provides broken-in comfort right off the shelf. With a high-rise straight fit and integrated stretch, these work pants allow tradeswomen to stay productive without stiffness and are engineered with triple-stitched seams, dedicated tool clip-on zones, seven durable and deep pockets, wide belt loops and a reinforced kick plate.

Milwaukee is committed to addressing the challenges of comfort, mobility and protection from the elements in job site apparel for tradesmen and tradeswomen. These products are engineered with a focus on the trades, ensuring solutions that enhance productivity in all job site conditions. Milwaukee’s dedication to innovation and quality ensures that every piece of apparel meets the rigorous demands of the job site, providing reliable performance and durability. By continuously refining designs and materials, Milwaukee is setting the standard for excellence in trade-specific apparel.
