2025’s Top Wall and Ceiling Pros — See Who Made the List

Meet the 50 Contractors Redefining American Construction

By W&C Staff
Walls & Ceilings' Top 50 Contractors
James Hohner | Walls & Ceilings
July 31, 2025

Welcome to Walls & Ceilings’ annual round-up of the leading wall and ceiling contractors in the country. As in previous years, our Top 50 Contractors list highlights the industry’s most progressive, innovative, and resourceful subcontractors.

For more than a decade, we’ve invited contractors to submit their information through our W&C Top 50 submission page on WConline.com. This platform allows contractors to share their stories, achievements, and the reasons they consider themselves among the industry’s elite. It’s always inspiring to hear from such a diverse range of voices in our field.

There are approximately 27,000 wall and ceiling contractors operating across the United States, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and recent industry reports. This broad network of professionals plays a critical role in shaping the commercial and residential spaces that define our built environment.

From our perspective, these 50 contractors exemplify a wide range of skills and leadership qualities that truly set them apart. We encourage W&C readers to visit these companies’ websites to explore their impressive portfolios and learn more about their stories. What makes these companies successful is their shared commitment to staying forward-thinking, ambitious, and quality-driven. This includes embracing new technologies, seeking out innovative products, investing in workforce development, prioritizing safety, and fostering company culture. These attributes have helped sustain their business models and positioned them as leaders in the industry.

“We’re excited to release this year’s list,” says Walls & Ceilings Editor John Wyatt. “The challenge is narrowing down the selections to just 50, as there are many deserving companies across the nation. Still, we believe this year’s roster reflects those consistently performing at the highest level. It’s especially exciting to welcome new entrants.”

Some of this year’s Top 50 have been in business for decades, while others are rising stars in the early stages of growth. Many have shared their visions for expansion and a desire to build lasting legacies.

This year’s response was once again overwhelmingly strong, and we are grateful to all who took the time to participate. We anticipate an even greater number of submissions next year and look forward to reviewing each one.

W&C congratulates this year’s Top 50 winners. Your dedication to excellence continues to elevate our industry.
