The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announced that registration is open for the Fall 2025 ACI Concrete Convention in Baltimore, Md. Known as the world’s gathering place for advancing concrete, the convention will take place October 26 – 29, 2025. The official hotels for the ACI Concrete Convention are the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor. All convention events will take place between the two hotels.

The Concrete Convention brings together engineers, contractors, educators, manufacturers, and material representatives to discuss and collaborate on concrete codes, specifications, and practices. Attendees will benefit from technical and educational sessions that feature the latest research, case studies, and best practices, along with opportunities to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Additionally, select sessions will be available on demand for those attending virtually.

The Convention boasts a comprehensive schedule with more than 300 committee meetings, more than 60 technical sessions, an industry trade exhibition, and more. All committee meetings are open to attendees and select programming will be accessible on-demand for remote participants. The in-person Convention will highlight companies, projects, research, and more, and will include numerous networking events where attendees can connect with leading professionals in the concrete industry. Participants can also explore the exhibit hall to discover a wide array of products and services offered by exhibitors.

Convention highlights include:

  • Opening Session: The Opening Session is the official start of the ACI Concrete Convention and will begin with a welcome address by ACI President Maria Juenger. The Opening Session will conclude with a keynote presentation. Immediately following the Opening Session, attendees are invited to the exhibit hall for the Opening Reception. Congratulate ACI Awardees, reunite with colleagues, network with new acquaintances, and learn about the products and services offered by exhibitors.
  • ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards Gala: The ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards will showcase and honor some of the most creative concrete projects worldwide, nominated by ACI Chapters, ACI International Partners, and project team members. Project nominations were judged by industry professionals with technical expertise in each of the eight award categories.
  • Egg Protection Device Student Competition: This competition aims to design and build the highest-impact-load-resistant plain or reinforced concrete Egg Protection Device (EPD). Learn and report on concrete sustainable benefits related to durability, impact resistance, and other real-life aspects that an EPD simulates. Results will be announced at the Student Awards Program on Monday, October 27, 2025. For more information on the competition, please visit www.concrete.org/students/studentcompetitions.
  • Concrete Repair Day: Sponsored by the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), join us for Concrete Repair Day on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, for a day of technical sessions on concrete repair and the Concrete Repair Day Lunch with a special presentation (Sessions, speakers, and topics to be announced soon).
  • Concrete Mixer: Join ACI Concrete Convention attendees and guests for the Concrete Mixer. Enjoy an evening of networking, entertainment, and great food. An assortment of food and beverages will be available.
  • Student and Young Professional Networking Event: The Student and Young Professionals Activities Committee (SYPAC) invites all students, young professionals, and convention mentors to a casual networking exchange following the Opening Reception. Attendees will establish connections with fellow young members. Prizes will be awarded during icebreaker activities.
  • President’s Reception: ACI President Maria Juenger invites all convention attendees to the President’s Reception, where attendees will have the opportunity to network with committee chairs, chapter presidents, and international attendees. An assortment of food and a hosted bar will be available.

Technical and educational sessions will be presented live, with on-demand viewing available afterward, offering extensive opportunities to enhance concrete knowledge through the convention platform. This applies to both in-person and virtual attendees.
