Inc. magazine has officially named ZD Stucco Repair to its 2025 Inc. 5000 list, placing the Clifton-based contractor at No. 4170 among America’s fastest-growing private companies.
For Zoltan Dicso, the honor is deeply personal. Originally from Budapest, Hungary, he arrived in the United States with only $200 and no knowledge of English. After experiencing multiple bouts of homelessness, he worked construction jobs for years before founding ZD Stucco Repair. Today, his company serves homeowners and businesses across New Jersey and the New York metro area.

Despite industry-wide challenges in 2024—including inflation, labor shortages, and economic uncertainty—ZD Stucco Repair pressed forward. The team completed more than 300 projects, covering 700,000 square feet of stucco restoration and installation, along with 78 roofing jobs.
Dicso credits his company’s progress to a clear mission. “When I started this business, I wanted to help my team, serve our customers, and change the industry for the better,” he explained.
