The National Architectural Glass & Metal Association announces a leadership transition effective January 1, 2026. Retiring Executive Director Deborah Wyandt, Esq., who has helmed NAGMA since 2021 will be succeeded by Anne McHenry. McHenry has been NAGMA Director of Finance, Education & Training since 2021. The leadership transition includes the recent hiring of Joye Blanscett as NAGMA Director of Contractor & Labor Engagement.

“It has been a pleasure serving architectural glass and metal contractors across the country and working with the board of directors and IUPAT labor partners to develop NAGMA into a thriving organization,” said Wyandt. “I am confident in Annie’s leadership and know that NAGMA and its members will be in very capable hands.”

McHenry’s role encompasses the dual tasks of helping grow the glazing industry association and supporting the market share of member union glazing contractors across the country. NAGMA priorities include promoting jobsite safety and quality workmanship, endorsing and supporting the North American Contractor Certification (NACC) program, and identifying opportunities and creating resources for member companies.

“I am excited to step into the leadership role and build upon the strong foundation Deb established,” said McHenry. “My priority has always been member engagement. The more NAGMA can engage with members and prospects, the more we can develop the right guidance and tools to support their growth.”

McHenry has over a decade of experience designing, creating, and implementing training programs and broadening the reach and exposure of NAGMA. Over the last two years, she developed and coordinated an active webinar program co-hosted by the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). Prior to joining NAGMA, McHenry worked in the protective coatings industry creating technical training and certification programs as an instructional design specialist for the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP). She holds dual M.A. and B.A. degrees in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Blanscett joined NAGMA in April 2025. She leverages her backgrounds in law and labor to support NAGMA contractors, foster a strong relationship with the IUPAT, and identify opportunities for member education, business development, and advocacy. She is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), and involved with the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP). Blanscett holds a B.A.Sc. in Political Science and Government from the University of Utah and a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.
