Merlo America announced its newest dealer partnership with Finke Equipment, a family-owned and operated company serving contractors and builders across the Northeast since 1977. With this partnership, Finke Equipment will now offer Merlo’s full line of Italian-engineered telehandlers, TreEmme forestry equipment, the MerloMobility telematics platform, and a wide range of attachments exclusively at its Selkirk, N.Y. branch.

Founded nearly five decades ago, Finke Equipment has grown into a regional leader with a 67,000-square-foot flagship facility in Selkirk, N.Y., complemented by two additional branches. Known for its long-standing customer relationships and strong team culture, Finke Equipment prides itself on reliability and flexibility and is dedicated to customer service.

The dealership supports a wide range of industries, including road and bridge construction, ground engineering, site development, solar energy, recycling, quarries, and concrete production. With a dedicated trucking fleet, Finke delivers a seamless experience for customers – expertly providing equipment sales, rentals, service, and parts all under one roof.

“Finke Equipment has many long-serving employees and customers. The way we ensure good service is simple: answer the phone, solve the problem, and take care of the customer,” said Don Fiacco, general manager of Finke Equipment. “That’s what has kept our relationships strong for nearly 50 years, and why customers trust us for the long haul.”

In response to rising demand for telehandlers, Finke Equipment sought a manufacturer known for innovation, safety, and dependability. Merlo proved to be the perfect fit.

“Merlo has a wide range of great products and great people. When we needed help developing rental packages, the Merlo team stepped right in with solutions. Our customers have been quick to embrace the machines, and seeing how fast they’re gaining popularity is hugely exciting. It’s a powerful step to add a product line that complements our existing offerings but also expands what we can do for our customers,” said Fiacco.

Since partnering, Finke Equipment has already expanded its Merlo fleet and has experienced strong interest from contractors and rental customers including a leading solar energy company now running multiple Merlo telehandlers.

For Merlo America, the partnership marks another step in expanding its dealer network and bringing its advanced equipment to more customers in the Northeast.

“Finke Equipment’s outstanding commitment to customer service, paired with nearly five decades of industry experience, makes them an ideal partner for Merlo America,” said Cole Renken, general manager of Merlo America. “We see in Finke Equipment the same values that drive Merlo: service, reliability, and a commitment to helping customers succeed. That alignment makes this partnership a strong one, and we’re excited to deliver new opportunities for its wide range of customers across the region together.”
