R. L. Reppert Spreads Holiday Cheer at Local School
Walls & Ceilings Top 50 Contractor Delivers Nearly 21,000 Essential Items to Support Allentown Students During the Holidays

R. L. Reppert Inc. once again partnered with Central Elementary School to host a holiday drive supporting low-income families within the Allentown School District, collecting food and essential items to help students in need during the Christmas break.
For many students at Central Elementary, the holiday season brings added hardship. When teachers asked students what they hoped to receive for Christmas, many responded not with toys, but with requests for food and basic necessities. During the school year, some students rely on school-provided breakfasts and lunches as their primary meals—resources that are unavailable when school is out for winter break.
“I do not believe that any child should go without basic necessities or food in this day and age,” said Ric Reppert, President of R. L. Reppert, Inc. “Every child deserves the best start to create the brightest future.”
With overwhelming support from employees, partners, and the local community, R. L. Reppert donated 20,962 items to the 680 students of Central Elementary School this year alone. Items included food, hygiene products, winter clothing, and other essentials to help families through the holidays.
Over the past five years, R. L. Reppert has donated more than 103,260 items to over 4,980 students, including nearly 100 homeless families, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
“These young kids are extremely happy to be receiving mac and cheese, shampoo, gloves, hats, socks, and the other items we donated,” Reppert said. “In most areas, kids might be disappointed with those gifts, but these students were so grateful—giving hugs and even crying as we handed them their bags.”
To make the day even more memorable, R. L. Reppert coordinated with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms to bring MeLVin, the team’s mascot, to the school. The surprise visit brought excitement, laughter, hugs, and high-fives, creating a joyful experience for students.
“The kids went insane when MeLVin walked in,” Reppert added. “Seeing their faces light up is what truly makes this worth it. I’m proud that we’ve been able to do this year after year.”
As the holiday season begins, students at Central Elementary School returned home with bags full of essentials, a few toys, and big smiles—knowing that their community came together to support them. R. L. Reppert hopes the effort not only eases immediate needs, but also helps inspire confidence and optimism for a brighter future ahead.
