Cornerstone Building Brands has named multi-platinum award winning country music country music artist Jordan Davis as its 2026 Home for Good project ambassador. Continuing its commitment to building stronger, more sustainable communities, the company is entering its 10th year of partnering with the global housing nonprofit Habitat for Humanity, pledging to donate building products valued at half a million dollars, as well as support home builds and volunteer efforts to help build and remodel affordable housing in partnership with families across North America in 2026.

“As a father of four, home means everything to me. I’m honored to join Cornerstone Building Brands as the 2026 Home for Good project ambassador and be part of an effort that’s helping more of our neighbors have a safe place they can truly call home.”

The Home for Good project reflects Cornerstone Building Brands’ purpose-driven commitment to strengthen the communities where its team members live, work and play. By partnering with influential voices who share a belief in the power of home, the company aims to spotlight the challenges facing families today while helping drive meaningful, on-the-ground impact.

“We’re proud to welcome Jordan Davis as our 2026 Home for Good project ambassador,” said Gunner Smith, chief executive officer of Cornerstone Building Brands. “Together, we hope to shine a brighter light on the need for affordable housing and continue supporting efforts that make a tangible difference for families in the communities where we live, work and play.”

Jordan Davis added, “As a father of four, home means everything to me. I’m honored to join Cornerstone Building Brands as the 2026 Home for Good project ambassador and be part of an effort that’s helping more of our neighbors have a safe place they can truly call home.”

The national affordable housing crisis continues to intensify, leaving many families without access to a safe, affordable place to call home. High home prices, elevated interest rates, rising property taxes and insurance premiums, as well as limited housing supply continue to create significant barriers to homeownership, according to The State of the Nation’s Housing 2025 from the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. U.S. home prices have climbed roughly 60 percent since 2019, while home sales have fallen to their lowest level in nearly 30 years, pushing homeownership further out of reach for many families. As a result, a record 22.6 million renter households are now cost-burdened, spending more than 30 percent of their income on housing.

These realities underscore the importance of initiatives like the Home for Good project, which is focused on raising awareness of the affordable housing crisis and helping expand access to safe, affordable housing in the communities it serves. Through the initiative, Cornerstone Building Brands has donated nearly $4.5 million in products and resources to help build or remodel more than 930 homes in more than 175 communities since the inception of the Home for Good project in 2016.

Country music artists have been steadfast supporters of the Home for Good project since its inception, with stars like Lady A, Tyler Hubbard, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker and more previously serving as ambassadors.

“Music and community, go hand in hand,” said Smith about the continued association with country music. “The country music artists who have served as Home for Good project ambassadors have been great partners in helping us broaden and deepen our impact by raising awareness for the need of safe, affordable housing.”Davis added, “Home is what keeps us grounded. That’s why helping bring awareness to the need for safe, affordable places where families can put down roots and build their lives matters to me.”

This year, Cornerstone Building Brands is donating windows, vinyl siding, trim and accessories with an estimated fair market value of $500,000. Habitat for Humanity relies on the quality, affordability and ease of installation of these materials to build houses in partnership with families in need of safe, affordable housing. In 2026, the Home for Good project is expected to support approximately 100 Habitat for Humanity builds.

“Affordable housing remains out of reach for far too many families,” said Charlita Stephens-Walker, vice president of corporate partnerships and cause marketing at Habitat for Humanity International. “Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone should have equitable access to the stability a safe, decent and affordable home can bring. With the continued commitment and support provided by partners like Cornerstone Building Brands through its Home for Good project, we are able to further our efforts to help more families build better futures.”
