JLG Expands Heavy-Duty Rental Transport Fleet
New carrier boosts rental fleet transport uptime.

JLG Industries has introduced an enhanced Jerr-Dan 15-Ton LP Industrial Carrier designed to help rental fleets transport heavy construction equipment with greater efficiency, durability and operator safety. Built for high-use rental environments, the carrier offers flexible deck configurations, heavy-duty towing capabilities and operator-focused features that support uptime and productivity for contractors and equipment rental providers.
The new carrier debuted at The ARA Show 2026 in Orlando and is designed to transport MEWPs, telehandlers and other heavy equipment commonly used across construction trades, including wall and ceiling applications.
According to Evan Landauer, director of sales and service for Jerr-Dan, the carrier was engineered to meet the demands of rental fleets that require dependable transport solutions capable of handling a wide range of jobsite conditions.
The carrier features a 30,000-pound structural deck capacity with deck lengths ranging from 24 feet to 30 feet. Contractors and rental companies can choose from multiple decking materials, including Apitong wood, traction plate over wood and steel diamond plate over wood, allowing fleets to customize the carrier for varying equipment and operating environments.
To support loading and recovery operations, the carrier is available with either a 20,000-pound worm gear or planetary winch equipped with air-free spool functionality. Additional towing and transport options include a 5,000-pound wheel lift, pintle hitch configurations with manual or hydraulic extension and an optional hydraulic rear dock stabilizer.
JLG also incorporated several safety and usability enhancements aimed at improving operator confidence on busy jobsites and in rental yards. Available features include dual lighted side controls, wireless remote controls, LED lighting, rear awareness indicator lights, backup camera systems, anti-slip painted rubrails, folding access ladders, chain racks and traffic cone storage.
The carrier is designed for mounting on chassis with a minimum GVWR of 46,000 pounds, supporting heavy-duty transport needs while helping fleets standardize equipment across operations.
The enhanced Jerr-Dan 15-Ton LP Industrial Carrier expands JLG’s lineup of rental-focused transportation solutions backed by the company’s dealer network and support services.
