AGC Charities Inc., the charitable arm of the Associated General Contractors of America, donated $265,000 to fund a new "National Healing Quarters" for Warrior Canine Connection. 

SOPREMA, Inc., a leading manufacturer of roofing, waterproofing, wall protection and civil engineering solutions, recently hosted a construction industry job fair for veterans in Pompano Beach, Florida, to raise money for the local Disabled American Veterans (DAV) chapter and to help local veterans find employment. Eighteen employers attended the event, which was held at SOPREMA’s Pompano Beach facility on May 24.

Sixteen floor layers and carpenters from the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters’ Locals 251 and 158 teamed with the District Council 21 Painters Union to refurbish the Veterans Multi-Service Center located at 213 N. 4th Street in Philadelphia.
