CertainTeed has announced the winners for its Seventh Annual North American Gypsum Trophy Awards, which recognizes contractors’ work across North America – each at the forefront of drywall design, installation, sustainability and craftsmanship.

CertainTeed has upgraded key equipment throughout its insulation plant in Athens, Georgia, which is projected to save over 7,300 megawatt hours of energy and 20 million gallons of water annually while reducing landfill waste by over 5,000 metric tons.

On July 19, CertainTeed announced the addition of Petals to its innovative ceilings and walls portfolio. A first of its kind, the nature-inspired Petals collection offers a wide array of biophilic design possibilities for many architectural projects.
