The Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association will host is annual convention and INTEX at The Walt Disney Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Fla., from April 2 to 6.

The awards and keynote breakfast on April 4 is expected to be the highlight of the convention. CISCA members are recognized for outstanding commercial projects completed in 2006 through CISCA’s Construction Excellence Awards.

The creation of INTEX Expo provides a single venue for exhibitors’ customers and business associates to network in a more cost-effective and productive way than ever before. INTEX is the premiere industry event for the interior/exterior wall and ceiling industry. CISCA and AWCI, the Association of the Wall & Ceiling Industry, will produce their second joint tradeshow, INTEX Expo, to be held in the Walt Disney World Dolphin April 4 and 5.

CISCA is an international trade association founded in 1950 for the advancement of the interior commercial construction industry. CISCA exists to provide a network of opportunities with all industry leaders through education and a forum to allow the interior construction industry to interact, evolve and prosper.

CISCA publishes the internationally specified Ceilings Systems Handbook, as well as a variety of industry guidelines produced by CISCA committees. CISCA’s seismic publications are referenced in the International Building Codes.
