Union Ironworkers Announce Commitment for 2009
Union Ironworkers has announced that it will pursue
relationships with contractors with whom no relationship exists to productively
manage construction projects and workloads ensuring projects are completed on
time and under budget, this year.
“Our members are ready and able to work, well-trained and committed to improving the economic and operational success of those contractors we work with,” Joseph Hunt, general president of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers said.
This resolution is a commitment based on the Ironworker Standard of Excellence, which reinforces the pride of every Ironworker and the commitment to be the most skilled, most productive and safest building trade.
