The Insulating Concrete Form Association has expanded its Excellence Award Program to focus on sound technical installations in addition to design, innovation and energy savings criteria used in judging applicants. 

The Insulating Concrete Form Association has expanded its Excellence Award Program (not to be confused with Walls & Ceilings’Excellence Award, named in the December issue) to focus on sound technical installations in addition to design, innovation and energy savings criteria used in judging applicants. Winning projects exemplify how ICFs are used in commercial and residential projects to achieve significant energy savings, fire and sound protection, resistance to wind damage. 

Entry application will be available November 15, 2010 on the ICFA’s Web site, www.forms.org. Deadline for contest entries is February 15, 2011.
