Flannery’s Comp Clip provides positive attachment between the building frame and the head of a wall. The Comp Clip is inserted around a metal stud and then “slid” into position over the deflection track, allowing for 100 percent unobstructed movement. It can also be utilized at door and window framing members. It can help reduce the bulge that occurs from screw heads behind the drywall because it doesn’t require a fastener.
