James Hardie Earns 2017 Partners of Choice Award
Through superior quality and service, James Hardie’s fiber cement siding company was able to earn the acclaimed Partners of Choice Award.
James Hardie Building Products Inc., announced twelve years of earning the nationally-recognized “A,A” Partners of Choice Award for outstanding quality and service from David Weekley Homes, the country’s largest privately-held home builder.
Over the last twelve years, James Hardie has won the “A,A” award eleven times and the “A” award once, highlighting the company’s continued success in delivering quality and service. This honor makes James Hardie one of only three other companies to have earned the award this many times.
“Earning the Partners of Choice Award is a reflection of the superior standard we set for ourselves, not only to manufacture durable, high-quality products, but also to deliver best-in-class service,” said Zean Nielsen, executive vice president of sales, at James Hardie Building Products. “We’re honored to partner with a builder as distinguished as David Weekley Homes, and being ranked by them as a top-tier company only motivates us to exceed that level of outstanding service.”
Best of the Best
Of the 200 companies evaluated, only the top ranked companies earn the coveted Partners of Choice Award. Categories include “A,A” demonstrating excellence in both quality and service, or “A” representing excellence in either quality or service.
To assess all partners and pinpoint top performers, more than 1,000 David Weekley Homes team members – from sales to senior leadership – participate in the homebuilder’s unique “Supplier Evaluation Platform.” At the heart of this process is the National Trading Partner Survey. The goal of the quarterly survey is to enhance communication and identify where improvements can be made to ultimately improve customer service, achieving the highest level of homeowner satisfaction.
“Our Supplier Evaluation Platform is essential for us in measuring world-class performance, and therefore selecting the strongest companies to assist us in delivering an unequaled experience for our homebuyers,” said Bill Justus, vice president of supply chain for David Weekley Homes, and the primary architect behind the homebuilder’s acclaimed program. “James Hardie has again surpassed the high expectations we set for our partners by continually demonstrating a dedication to delivering world-class quality and service to David Weekley Homes.”
