Simpson Strong-Tie will bring a full suite of product innovations and contractor solutions to the 2019 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) February 16–22 in Las Vegas, Nevada. IBS annually brings together 60,000-plus construction professionals for three days of educational sessions, networking and a 600,000-square-foot trade show showcasing the most compelling products and services available to the homebuilding industry.

In addition to demos of new connector and fastener solutions designed to improve performance and reduce jobsite costs, the Simpson Strong-Tie booth (C3025) will have a dedicated area to introduce its Builder Solutions that comprises custom-tailored training, technology and customer support to help builders manage design options more efficiently, construct more predictably and get homes on the market faster.

Plus, don't miss the IBS 2019 launch of the Simpson Strong-Tie Quik Stik fastening tool, a new solution for overhead fastening designed to reduce the risk of construction-related injuries while boosting jobsite efficiencies with speedier and more accurate fastening of rafter and truss assemblies. It’s designed specifically for use with our Strong-Drive SDWC Truss screw.

Simpson Strong-Tie will also be showcasing our latest connector solutions including:

  • The BTH high-performance brick tie for connecting masonry veneer to wood structures across airspaces of 2" to 3", providing flexibility to meet larger veneer spacing requirements.
  • The LSSR slopeable/skewable rafter hanger that can be installed after the rafters are tacked into place and features an innovative hinged swivel seat that adjusts to slopes up to 45°.
  • The CSHP high-performance coiled strap featuring a raised embossment that allows the strap to be installed with fewer nails, shorter lengths and an overall lower installed cost.
  • The BVLZ brick veneer ledger connector that provides a new code-listed, tested solution for safely adding a deck to an existing house with brick veneer exterior.
