In this special podcast of “If Walls Could Talk,” W&C Group Publisher Jill Bloom speaks with EIMA’s Executive Director Stephen Sears at this year’s BUILD24. In this talk—just a short time after the association’s annual event in Dallas—the two reflect on a number of initiatives EIMA has going on, as well as reviewing some key issues discussed this time, last year. 

On its promotions front, the association launched its first education course for AIA.

This year, its annual awards competition got more entries than before, Sears said, and next year it’s being renamed the “EIFS Excellence Awards.” 

On the technical side, EIMA has re-launched its new website that is populating with new industry technical bulletins and other assorted goods. 

And, Sears reports: “We submitted an application for our first federal grant with the EPA. So, we can get company-specific EPDs for every EIFS manufacturer in the U.S.” This application is pending so EIMA will find out this spring.
