Pre-blended Stucco

QUIKRETE Cos.

With a 27 percent share of the market, residential homebuilders have made stucco the cladding material of choice. Recognized for its durability, fire-resistance, energy efficiency, and more, the value of stucco is maximized by using a preblended mix instead of relying on the increasingly outdated technique of field blending. The company’s pre-blended stucco is easier to use, reduces labor cost, and minimizes waste. At the same time, consistency is improved making application easier. With more than 100 plants, the company is your local supplier of 80- and 3,000-pound bulk bags of pre-blended stucco. For more information, visit quikrete.com.

Modified Carvable Mortar

Modified Carvable Mortar

Parex USA

Carvable Mortar Bag Modified Carvable Mortar Parex USA The company’s Carvable Mortar is a polymer-modified carvable architectural mortar used for creating relief structures or wall dressing. It is a suitable product for art restoration, hotels, theme parks or any construction that requires light sculpted shapes. The product can be applied over lath, rocks, CMU/brick, interior plaster, drywall/gypsum sheathing, EPS or stucco basecoats. It’s easy to carve thanks to its extended open time and its versatility allows you to create new shapes or repair natural, damaged stones. The looks are limitless, as the mortar can be painted over or have a textured acrylic finished applied to it. For more information, visit parexusa.com.

Stone Wool Insulation for EIFS

Stone Wool Insulation for EIFS

ROCKWOOL

Frontrock stone wool insulation for EIFS is a noncombustible, Class A (ASTM E84) material, withstanding temperatures up to 2,150 degrees Fahrenheit and provides fire safety during each phase of a building: construction, retrofit, and occupancy. The product is designed for mechanically fastened EIFS, engineered to help reduce base coat consumption, provide rigid surface resistance against accidental impact, and adapt to irregularities of the wall structure. Easy to handle, cut, and install for field and panelized applications, the insulation has a Red List Approved Declare label, and an HPD, supporting green building practices. For more information, visit rockwool.com/EIFS.

Masonry Veneer System

Masonry Veneer System

Dryvit

The company’s Outsulation Masonry Veneer System is an EIF system that incorporates moisture drainage, an air/water-resistive barrier, continuous insulation and a manufactured stone masonry veneer compliant with ICC Acceptance Criteria AC51 aesthetic finish. The product is an engineered, cost-effective system that is easy to install and built for lasting performance—a single source wall solution providing protection against the effects of air, water, thermal and vapor. It can also be finished in a variety of manufactured stone veneers to allow maximum freedom in architectural design and aesthetics. For more information, visit dryvit.com/systems.

Lath Attachment for Stucco/EIFS

Lath Attachment for Stucco/EIFS

Trufast

Lath attachment for stucco and adhered stone veneer, along with mechanically attached EIFS, requires many fasteners and many fasteners create many holes through the air and water resistive barrier. Whether penetrating through building wrap, fluid-applied or self-adhered WRB, ordinary fasteners such as nails, staples or screws, are incapable of maintaining a seal where it matters most. TubeSeal fasteners available pre-assembled with Grip-Plate lath washers or Plasti-Grip PBLP2 EIFS washers help seal the screw penetration of the WRB located behind continuous insulation. Available pre-assembled for steel or wood studs with insulation assemblies ranging from 1 to 4 inch thickness, and applicable for all common types of insulation, including mineral wool, XPS, EPS or polyiso. For more information, visit trufastwalls.com/self-sealing-fasteners.
