Ames Taping Tool Systems Inc. announces the opening of its newest store in Long Island City, N.Y. The opening continues the Atlanta-based firm's expansion into major metropolitan markets across the country. Ames has established company-owned store locations in more than 100 markets, in addition to franchise operations in over 80 of residential and commercial construction markets in the U.S. and Canada. The company has opened 10 new store locations this year, and continues its store opening program throughout the U.S. in the first half 2005.
Walls & Ceilings visited the grand opening of Armstrong World Industries' new ceiling suspension system manufacturing plant in Aberdeen, Md., May 25.
