Scott Bacon has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing of Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. in Louisville, Ky.

“We are excited to welcome Scott to the Metal Sales team,” says Nick Dowd, president of Metal Sales. “He has extensive experience with metal wall and roof system. Scott brings an in-depth knowledge of both the architectural and post frame markets, and the distribution channels that service each market.”

Bacon was formerly employed as vice president of commercial sales for Fabral. Bacon spent many years in sales and leadership roles with HH Robertson, Reynolds Metals Co., and Centria. Throughout his 30 years of building product industry experience, he has gained expertise in all aspects of metal roofing and siding commercial and architectural applications to include single skin products, insulated metal panels and metal composite material. Bacon's’s broad based industry experience and leadership skills make him an excellent match for Metal Sales.

Bacon earned a business degree from Penn State University and an MBA with a concentration in marketing from St. Joseph’s University. In addition, Bacon served our nation as a member of the U.S. Army.
