L&W Supply, a nationwide distributor of interior building materials and construction supplies, has announced that Shayne Bastian has been promoted to branch manager of L&W Supply’s Fort Collins, Colorado, location.

JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, is expanding its network of Authorized Service Providers in the United States to provide equipment repair, warranty, maintenance, inspections, parts and other support services nationwide to JLG customers, no matter where their equipment is working. The price of materials and services used in nonresidential construction jumped 12.6 percent in September from a year earlier despite a dip of 0.2 percent last month, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of government data released Oct. 12. Protected by Patent No. 11,390,493, the slotted latch design allows for better seating of the latch in the hook to prevent disengagement or damage to the latch — ultimately keeping loads more secure, reducing the risk of damaged equipment and enhancing operator safety.

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced Oct. 11 that Michael Herseth has joined the firm as Civil Engineering Manager in the firm’s Seattle office. The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry of the American Chemistry Council on Oct. 5 announced two CPI Distinguished Leadership Award recipients: Nigel Barksby of Covestro and Mary Bogdan of Honeywell.
