Spring is here, which means the Window Safety Task Force, in partnership with the National Safety Council, encourages parents and caregivers to recognize the importance of practicing window safety during Window Safety Week, which is being observed April 7-13.

Associated Builders and Contractors announced the winners of the 2024 ABC Construction Management Competition and the 35th annual National Craft Championships on March 18. The winners were honored on the final day of the ABC Convention 2024 in Orlando, Florida, on March 15.

L&W Supply has announced the launch of its online order management tool, myLWsupply. The tool will allow the company’s customers to digitally manage their orders with ease.

All Weather Insulated Panels appointed Bjoern Meyer as vice president of operations, overseeing production facilities, technical enhancements and quality assurance.

L&W Supply has opened a new location in Portage, Michigan. Jeffrey Pettit manages the new location. Pettit joined L&W Supply in 2004 and has since held various positions, including warehouse manager, inside sales associate and delivery services manager.

Washington-based subcontractor ADI visited this year’s BUILD24. The successful contractor is featured in W&C’s March 2024 issue. Its president, James Chaney, visits the show to keep up to date on new tools and technology and develop relationships in the industry.

The Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association has announced its 2024 Construction Excellence Award winners. The awards were announced on March 26 and were presented by Erica Dorner and Nate Womble during this year’s CISCA event.
